Dedh Ishqiya is a 2014 Indian comic drama thriller film. Out from prison, Khalujaan a.k.a Iftekhar (Naseeruddin Shah) and Babban (Arshad Warsi) have stolen a jewelry made of imperial gems and are on the run. They go separate ways and meet at the Majidabad royal residence, where Iftekhar is rivaling Urdu writers to win the heart of the nawab’s dowager Begum Para (Madhuri Dixit). Her savvy and puzzling companion and right hand Munniya (Huma Qureshi) gradually warms up to Babban and they together plot a hijacking.
