Vanvaas (2024) Full Movie Review:

I saw Vanvaas (2024) last weekend. Bhai, what a disappointment! Anil Sharma tried to show problem of old parents being abandoned but film didn’t hit the right feelings.

Story follows Deepak Tyagi (Nana Patekar), who has memory problem. His own children trick him and leave him alone in Varanasi. There he meets Veeru (Utkarsh Sharma), a small-time chor who becomes his helper.

Nana Patekar acted with full heart as always, but film itself is totally old-style. Everything reminds of Baghban but without the strong emotions. The story moves slower than Mumbra local train during monsoon! 2.5 hours felt like full day sitting in theater.

Director used too much rona-dhona in every scene. The dialogues were so predictable that people in my row were saying lines before actors!

The Varanasi scenes looked nice but couldn’t save this boring film. Even good message about respecting elders got lost in boring screenplay.

If you want to watch good film on same topic, better rewatch Baghban instead of wasting money on this one. Not worth your time or ticket price!
