Gogol. Viy Story & Plot
In this desi-style fantasy sequel, our hero Nikolai Gogol, the same lad from the 2017 flick who used to get those weird fits, is back. During these fits, he’d see some strange stuff happening in the dark world. Now, there’s a serial killer on the loose who’s already offed 11 women in a village. The villagers are saying it’s some kinda dark horseman doing the deed. Gogol’s been tasked with investigating these murders, but instead of making progress, he’s getting more and more of those creepy visions. Then he realizes his girlfriend Liza is the next target. He’s not sure if he’s got what it takes to stop it. By chance, he bumps into this witch hunter named Khoma Brut. They hole up in an old church and ask this witch, Ulyana, to summon the evil spirit Viy to help prevent the upcoming murder. It’s a wild ride with lots of twists and turns, keeping you on the edge of your seat till the very end.
