The plot revolves around a young lad named Vijay who’s got big dreams but lives in a tiny village in rural India. His pa wants him to take over the family farm, but Vijay’s got his sights set on the bright lights of Mumbai. Against his family’s wishes, he packs his bags and heads to the big city to make it as an actor. Life in Mumbai ain’t easy for a small-town boy. Vijay faces rejection after rejection at auditions. Just when he’s about to throw in the towel, he meets a kind-hearted casting director who sees his potential. She takes him under her wing and helps him hone his craft. After months of struggle, Vijay finally lands a role in a major Bollywood film. The movie becomes a blockbuster hit and Vijay becomes an overnight sensation. But with fame comes its own set of problems. Vijay gets caught up in the glitz and glamour, partying hard and neglecting his old friends and family.
