College life, I tell you! In my engineering days, we had this gang – Manoj, Ashok and Damodar. Typical freshers, but such masti they used to do! Their senior Laddu was the biggest character, always teaching them some new drama.
These boys were doing everything together only – pulling pranks, sitting outside hostel for late night talking-sharing, and yes, some love stories also started happening! Laddu was guiding them through campus craziness. Some basketball they tried playing – total disaster it was! And those mysterious phone calls in middle of night creating so much confusion.

Mad (2023) Full Movie Review:
I watched this Telugu movie MAD last week only. Directed by Kalyan Shankar, full energy types campus comedy it is! Story is following three engineering students – Manoj (Ram Nithin), Ashok (Narne Nithin) and Damodar (Sangeeth Shobhan).
Main thing about MAD is the comedy timing, especially Sangeeth Shobhan who played Damodar. Too much talent! That basketball training scene had me rolling on floor! Vishnu Oi as Laddu senior was solid anchor character. The girls Sri Gouri Priya, Ananthika Sanilkumar and Gopika Udyan were looking nice but not getting too much importance in story.
Movie is not having very deep story, but that is ok only because it’s meant for timepass fun. Camera work showing campus life was colorful and nice. Songs by Bheems Ceciroleo were ok ok types, nothing too special.
It released on October 6, 2023 and became hit hit. Now they made sequel also called Mad Square in March 2025. If you want easy watching college nostalgia film without much tension, this one you should see! Not some award winning cinema, but full entertaining college life journey it is.
