Sabdham (2024) Film Short Story :
A university hires a paranormal investigator to investigate a string of enigmatic deaths that some believe were caused by supernatural forces. Sabhdam attempts to weave a tapestry of horror, but instead delivers a frayed and ultimately frustrating experience. Clocking in at a seemingly interminable two hours, the film suffers from a confluence of fundamental flaws that render it a cinematic ordeal rather than an engaging narrative.
Sabdham (2024) Full Movie Review:
I watched Sabdham recently. Bhai, what an interesting concept but disappointed in execution! Director Arivazhagan tried to mix horror with detective story but couldn’t balance it properly.
Story follows this paranormal investigator Ruben (Aadhi Pinisetty) who goes to hill station medical college where strange deaths are happening. First half was quite gripping – the sound effects and dark atmosphere really created tension. You feel something bad will happen anytime!
But second half totally goes downhill faster than auto without brakes! They suddenly bring black magic angle and over-dramatic scenes that make no sense. The most interesting part was using sound as horror element, but they didn’t develop this idea properly.
Aadhi acted well but his character had no depth. We don’t understand why he became paranormal investigator or why we should care about him. Other actors were just wasted with small roles.
