Dirty Angels (2024) Film Short Story :
It centers on a group of female soldiers who disguise themselves as medics to rescue a group of teenagers caught between ISIS and the forces of the Taliban.
In the opening rescue scene, the helicopter pilot pulls back on the cyclic to lift the helicopter off the ground. The cyclic is only used to change the helicopter’s direction. Altitude is controlled by a group of people behind the pilot.
Dirty Angels (2024) Full Movie Review:
I watched Dirty Angels last night. Bhai, what a mast action film with ladies fighting! Martin Campbell directed it. He is the same director who made Casino Royale. He shows this all-women commando team going to Afghanistan. Their mission is to save kidnapped girls from terrorists.
Eva Green plays Jake. She is the tough team leader who makes a plan to enter the terrorist area. They pretend to be medical helpers. Her acting is solid but film doesn’t show much about why she became such hardcore fighter.
The fighting scenes are proper intense – bullets flying everywhere, hand-to-hand combat, and night vision goggles action. But problem is film takes too much time to reach main mission. First half feels like it’s going slower than auto rickshaw with puncture!
The other women commandos hardly get any proper dialogues or back stories. You don’t feel connected to them when they are in danger situations.
Film tries to show women power message but doesn’t go deep into it. Just showing ladies with guns is not enough, na?
If you like timepass action movie with something different (women soldiers instead of men), then one-time watch for sure. But don’t expect anything mind-blowing or emotional. Eva Green’s badass attitude is best part of whole film!
